Ch. 7 - Completion (pages 117-132) [Bonus: Conclusion, pages 133-136] In the beginning of the chapter, Burge makes the point that everyone has an eschatology (a belief about how history will come to an end). How would you define/explain a non-Christian eschatology? In other words, what is it that your non-Christian friends and neighbors look forward to?
When you think of the end of history, judgment, and the second coming of Christ, does it fill you with anxiety or hope? Why?
