And He Shall be Called...Savior (Christmas Eve)
Message Listening Guide
And He Shall Be Called…Savior
(Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 2:1-20; John 3:16-17)
Guiding Question: What does it truly mean that Jesus is the “Savior?”
The Extent of Salvation (Isaiah 61:1-3)
The title "Savior" means much more than we often think. It implies rescue, healing, and complete restoration.
In Jesus’s day, “salvation” referred to both physical deliverance and health in every area of life.
Jesus came to save all of us—every part of us: body, mind, spirit, and relationships.
The Point: Jesus came to save all of us.
The Reach of Salvation (Luke 2:11, John 3:16-17)
The angel declared that the Savior’s birth was “good news for all people.”
Jesus’s gift of salvation is for everyone—regardless of who they are or what they’ve done.
Salvation is offered freely, but it must be received to experience its full benefit.
Response This Christmas:
Embrace the fullness of salvation—Jesus came to save every part of you.
Accept this gift for yourself. Pray for others to receive it and invite them to know Jesus as Savior.
