We’re looking for a relational, organized leader to champion Creekside Kids, equip volunteers, and partner with parents.
At a Glance
Two tracks (you choose):
Children’s Ministry Director – 10 hrs/wk
Children’s Minister – 15 hrs/wk (adds staff/team responsibilities)
Reports to: Senior Pastor
When: Sundays required; some mid-week hours for prep, meetings, and events
Compensation (CO transparency): $18-21/hour + approved ministry expenses
Start: As soon as practical after selection (target early fall)

What You'll Do:
Core (Children’s Ministry Director ~10 hrs/wk)
Lead Sunday operations for Creekside Kids (Check-In, nursery/classrooms, teach as needed).
Select curriculum and guide the spiritual direction of the ministry.
Maintain safe, clean, well-stocked environments (nursery supplies, snacks, etc.).
Recruit, background-check, schedule, and train volunteers.
Plan and admin key discipleship/outreach events (e.g., Vacation Bible School, Indoor Trick-or-Treat).
Calendar and budget needs; implement space improvements.
Additional (Children’s Minister + 5 hrs/wk)
Participate in weekly staff meetings and planning.
Pursue ongoing growth (reading/conferences).
Be available for basic mentoring/care for kids and parents.
Light website updates and event promotion (digital/print).
Purchase supplies as needed; assist with church workdays/seasonal decor.
Respond to deacon/benevolence requests within scope.
What You Bring:
A vibrant, growing walk with Jesus and love for the local church.
Alignment with Creekside’s statement of faith and ministry culture.
Experience leading kids or family ministry (staff or high-level volunteer).
Strengths in organization, communication, and volunteer care/training.
Safety mindset and reliability on Sundays.
Willingness to complete background check and child-safety training.
Bonus: comfort with Canva, social media, event planning, or outreach.
Compensation & Benefits (Colorado)
Salaried: $18-21/hr depending on experience
Included: Reimbursed ministry expenses (with approval), paid training resources/conferences (as budgeted).
Notes: Creekside is a religious organization; role requires faith alignment and passing a background check.
