About Us

Our mission

We believe that we are called to be Christ's representatives in the world -- His hands and feet, continuing His work in the world.
We express Christ in three main ways:
In our communion with God, through worship and the Word
In our fellowship that offers real relationships and accountability
In our commission to make disciples of all nations

To be a living expression of Jesus Christ.

Creekside Community Church began in 1998 with a small group, supported by Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church and the Mile High Baptist Association. Creekside met in various locations in Elizabeth until the fall of 2010, when we were able to move into our permanent building at 36100 County Road 13.
The late 1990s and early 2000s were difficult times for new churches, but God's hand has been upon Creekside. Today, the church continues to find new ways to challenge people to connect their lives with Christ and to serve Him and our community.

What We Believe

At Creekside, we have adopted the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 as our official statement of faith.

How We Are Organized

Creekside is a self-governing body of believers. We have a set of by-laws, sometimes called rules of order or a constitution.
Here are several practical reasons to have by-laws: to promote efficiency, to provide direction,
to preserve unity and to maintain our testimony, and finally to protect ourselves from liability.

Affiliations

While we are a self-governed church, we voluntarily associate with others churches of the SBC to support the work of the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, and the Colorado Baptist General Convention. We also support the statement of faith known as the Baptist Faith and Message.
